10. Candida symptoms and cures
Candida symptoms and Cures Candida is a bacterium which is present in all our guts and in the correct balance it is completely benign and does no harm at all. However when it is out of synchronisation it can cause havoc. Unfortunately as we all have it is difficult to diagnose because there is no reliable test for its presence, as it is there naturally in small quantities. To make matters worse there is a whole range of non specific symptoms associated with it. In plain English you may have Candida and your best friend may have it as well, but there is not a common symptom between you.

Also as if the waters were not muddy enough the symptoms can be very like gluten intolerance. So it can be quite difficult to ascertain the fact that you have the disease and often diagnosis is a matter of trial and error. Candida albicans is the most common form of yeast, and when there is a Candida albicans yeast infection women often get thrush a vaginal infection caused by yeast. Most women get thrush at some time or another in their life and in itself it is not the end of the world.

When a person starts to get chronic candidiasis it can get to be very debilitating. What can make the problem worse is the fact that some doctors minimise the problem and in some cases they do not recognise it at all. Chronic Candida overgrowth can lead to a wide variety of physical and mental symptoms, they include fatigue, abdominal pain, skin infections, and in some cases cognitive difficulties are present. If you feed your Candida overgrowth with more sugars in the form of carbohydrates it will get worse. That means although there are drugs which will ease Candida an overall cure normally involves a change of diet. There are no hard and fast rules as to how strict the diet has to be and no hard and fast rules about a time limit. Some have had the symptoms for twenty years and of course they will need a stricter diet than that new sufferers’ because the Candida has taken a hold.
