I have female burning and itching. What is the best yeast infection cure out there?

I am looking for natural cures and prevenatives. No medications.

acidophilus (spelling might be wrong) it’s actually a bacteria that helps to replenish your normal flora so it can fight the yeast infection. Cranberry Juice helps, just because it helps to make the area a deadly pH for yeast… but there’s aways vagisil to help with the itching and burning while you wait… but the natural way will take longer than the MD way and it’s not always guaranteed to work the first time… the key is prevention.

This is my 2nd treatment for it. The 1st time i got a vaginal cream & now i was prescribed a Fluconazole tablet.

I asked the dr assistant if it was safe & she said yes.

Im kind of scared to take it.

Eating yogurt can reduce the risk of yeast infection.

EDIT: Yeast infections are very common throughout pregnancy.

Miconazole cures yeast infection?

The thing is, it’s not vaginal. It’ s under my arm (my armpit) for some very odd reason. My mom takes care of the elderly and she has this Miconazole cream she uses on her patience that she gave to me for it, but I’m not sure it will work or not and I don’t want to do anything that would make it worse. So, does it work?

Yes, the miconazole cream will help your problem, whether it’s actually a yeast infection or some seborrheic dermatitis (whcih also has to be considered in this case. )

Eating yogurt to cure yeast infection?

I’ve had yeast infections before but i have never tried eating yogurt to cure it. For the past 3 weeks i’ve ate yogurt daily and have taken yeast infection pills. Recently, clumps of yeast have discharged my body as if i used monistat or something, and i’m wondering is this a sign of the infection leaving or is it worsening?

Eating yogurt will NOT cure your yeast infection. Sorry.

Some crazy hippie radicals who are opposed to medicine and chemicals say that if you take a tampon and submerge it in plain yogurt and then stick it up the vagina that it will cure it. You have to do this like 3x a day and leave the tampon in while laying down for like a half hour or something.

I’d rather just take the pill or use monistat.

The clumps of discharge you’re seeing is from the yeast infection. Not from eating yogurt. Go out and take the night time one dose monistat.

I have a yeast infection and I accidentally used Vagisil instead of Monistat 7 in my vagina. Am I ok?

I have been using Monistat 7. That’s the applicator insert that cures yeast infections. I accidentally grabbed the wrong tube and filled the applicator with regular Vagisil – the anti-itch cream. I didn’t realize it until I inserted the applicator and pushed the plunger. Will I be okay? I know vagisil is an external cream. Please help.

You should be fine. I have also put it inside my v and nothing happened. You probably shouldn’t do it again though. Just watch it for the next couple of days and if you have any changes in your symptoms then call your doc.

is creamy yogurt can cure yeast infection?

please try to help me, i have yeast infection. i buy yogurt and i buy yogurt was creamy yogurt. so i would to ask if that yogurt can cure yeast infection?

What helps in the yogurt is the probiotics, or "good bacteria."
The more varieties of good bacterias listed and the less sugar the better. Sugar feeds the yeast (like making bread or sour dough starter). Lactobacillus acidophilus, as found in yogurt, is one of many good bacterias needed. The more organic and less sugar the better. Oganic have many varieties of good bacterias i.e. CascadeFresh by Cascade Farms has Activ8, 8 live cultures, Brown Cow and Horizon brands have 4-6. Ultraviolet light doesn’t kill all the good bacterias in organic as heat pasteurized does in the non-organics. You’d have to eat alot though. (Read the ingredients and avoid aspartame, a sugar substitute found in the lights and low calorie yogurts. Aspartame can make it worse. Google it.) Best to go to a reputable nutrition store like GNC and get a bottle of probiotic capsules. This is also recommended to people who have had to take antibiotics, cold, sinus and other medications, digestive problems (IBS and high stomach acid kill good bacterias). Also google pH therapy. You tend to get yeast infections more when your body’s pH is very acidic. Caffeines, sugars and fried or refined foods make you more acidic which is a better invironment for yeast and bad bacterias (like ones that cause ulcers) need to live in. Restrict these. Eat more fruits and vegetables. Another thing to get and try especially if you have burning or itching is cranberry concentrate (no sugar added). Don’t drink cranberry juice which has too much sugar and again can feed the yeast. Cranberry also improves your pH and can also help those who get urinary tract infections. Hope this helps. best of luck to you ! :o )

What cures a recurring yeast infection?

I’ve been struggling this since march after I was on antibiotics off ,and on meaning 2 weeks it would be gone get it again 3 weeks gone 3 weeks get it again .I need some advice from some people who went through this ,but any advice would help about now note to mention I have tried most over the counter products.

if you really want to get rid of yeast infection then you must follow these tips – they worked for me:

1) Eat yogurt!!!! It contains helpful bacteria (live cultures, including acidophilus and bifidus) that destroy yeast. Use only plain yogurt with active cultures.

2) Douche with a solution of 1 to 3 tbsp. vinegar in a quart of water. Repeat once a day while having symptoms, but no longer than a week.

3) Decrease or eliminate sugar and sugary foods. Sugar promotes yeast growth.

4) Use a garlic clove as a suppository. Garlic contains a natural anti-fungal agent.

5) also you should use some herbal treatment. In that case Yeastrol is really good (probably the best) product that gets rid of yeast infection comparatively fast and makes you feel more confident knowing that it wont reappear again!
And of course it is better if you use full course (5 months – if I remember correctly).

How to Cure Yeast Infection using Natural Remedies?

I have a bad yeast infection and I dont want to use pills or OTC Drugs. Please help?

This is going to sound extremely gross, but relief is instantaneous. First, go get yourself a massengil douche, preferably unmedicated. Also get a small container of plain unsweetened yogurt. It must be plain with nothing in it or you will be sorry. Open the douche and empty out the fluid. Cut the top off the douche bottle with a sharp serrated knife, being careful not to remove the threading where the applicator will screw on. Use a funnel and put the yogurt in the douche bottle. You will have to wiggle it, etc. to get it in there. Put the cap on the douche bottle. Before you are ready to go to bed, place a clean, good sized, preferably plush towel under yourself. Get into bed without any underwear, you will not leave the bed again til morning. Tilt the douche bottle down so the yogurt settles near the nozzle. Squeeze gently until you see that the yogurt is beginning to seep through the openings in the nozzle. Insert and apply. Try to apply all the yogurt with one firm squeeze. Let the yogurt fall out naturally through the night. In the morning shower and clean yourself normally, do not attempt to remove the yogurt your body will get rid of it on its own.
